My journey began when I was 15.
An A* student, with pathetic self-worth, distracting myself by pushing harder. As if keeping busy would somehow prove my value.
I was anxious about everything from the minute I woke up to when I crashed on my pillow. It didn’t last. Adrenaline overload stopped me in my tracks and literally floored me.
Sound familiar? Internally stressed, externally in control, constantly exhausted.
It took all my energy just to get out of bed some days. Barely eating and running on empty, but forcing myself through.
There had to be another option. I’d reached my limit chasing my tail.
Always wanting to fit in and worried what people thought. I didn’t even know who I was or what I wanted anymore. So how was it going to change?
One small step forward at a time.
This was an opportunity for me to really look at what was going on. What did I want my life to look like from this point forward? What did I need to let go of? Who did I want to be? Simple questions, but crazy hard to answer when you’ve always done what’s expected of you. When you’ve always set yourself up to fail.
We’re all the same though, despite different experiences. When your end goal is clear, that’s what motivates you to push through the hard bits.
So, that’s exactly what I did.

I wanted to help others experiencing panic attacks and broken self-esteem to feel inspired with choice.
Reading every self-help book I could and trying every therapy with it. There’d be days feeling on top of the world, then anxiety and overwhelm would hit from nowhere. This was going to be a life-long journey and a work in progress, I knew that, but setbacks weren’t going to stop me.
Knowing life could be better than the anxiety led me to believe, making the choice to keep on getting up when life knocked me down. Becoming a resilience superhero, with the determination to go with it. No matter what ups and downs there were, I had to keep going.

Many of the women I’ve helped are fiercely independent. They’ve been in abusive & emotionally void relationships, so they’ve learned to just get on with things themselves. That “it is what it is.”
